Ive tried deleting them, cutting them, even copying the document to another black document and they will not go away.
Word 2016 Insert Horizontal Line How To Get RidI need to submit this papre soon so I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me out with how to get rid of them Thank you so much.Heres how to get rid of them: 1.Click to place your cursor above the line.Click on the Home tab at the top of your screen.Click on the drop-down arrow next to the Borders button toward the middle of the Ribbon in the Paragraph group. Click on No Border. Click on the File button in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. Click on Options near the bottom of the menu that pops up. Click on Proofing on the left-hand side of the box that pops up. Click on the AutoCorrect Options button on the right. Click on the AutoFormat As You Type tab in the next box. In the Apply as you type group in the middle, uncheck the box next to Border lines. Click OK to get out of both boxes. I have been using microsoft word since fourth or fifth grade and shamefully, I could not figure out how to get that stubborn line to go away. In addition to unchecking border lines, in my experience, it was essential to also uncheck bottom in order to remove the black line.
